KnowPro was founded in London in 2022 to build one thing: a clean, verified, global directory of the businesses and professionals people actually look for — and that generic search results keep burying under ads, SEO spam, and dead listings.
We cover nine categories that span the full range of "pros": websites and SaaS platforms, companies and agencies, online shops, independent professionals, real estate, hotels, restaurants, service providers, and everything else that doesn't fit cleanly into a single box.
How we build the directory
Our editorial team researches and verifies each listing using public business registries, official websites, press coverage, and regulatory filings. Every profile is checked against at least two independent public sources before publication. We do not scrape social media, do not publish unverified listings, and do not accept paid placement in rankings.
What a verified profile contains
- Business or professional name, type, and primary category
- Headquarters or main location
- Founded year and brief overview
- Key services, specialties, or offerings
- Public contact information (website, email, phone)
- Verification source and review date
Editorial independence
KnowPro does not accept pay-for-placement, does not run hidden sponsorships, and does not adjust category rankings for commercial relationships. Our revenue comes from an optional premium tier (enhanced profile, logo placement, featured contact form) that does not influence listings or search visibility.
Coverage
We aim to cover all 197 UN-recognised countries. Coverage density varies — London, Dubai, Singapore, and New York move faster than smaller markets — but every week we prioritise the least-covered country / category combinations. If you don't see your country well represented yet, check back.
Our team
Editorial is led by Oliver Hartwell. Research is supported by a distributed network of contributors with regional expertise and language coverage across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania.

If any listing contains outdated or inaccurate information, or if you're featured and wish to be removed, email [email protected] with the URL and details. We review within one working day.
